The North Carolina Joint Underwriting Association and the North Carolina Insurance Underwriting Association are pleased to provide the Storm Readiness 2017 seminar for Member Insurers, Producers and Independent Adjusters.
A coordinated response to storms from the Associations, Member Insurers, Producers, and Independent Adjusting firms will ensure the best possible service to the citizens of North Carolina.
This seminar reviews the storm procedures, application of coverage, and frequently asked questions.
Additionally, the Storm Readiness 2017 meetings will provide a preview of the new policy administration system which is currently under development by the Associations. The new system has features which will benefit all of our stakeholders
Registration fee is $25.00 per person
Attendance fulfills the Associations’ Producer Certification / Recertification requirements
This seminar will provide 3 credit hours toward continuing education for Producer’s and Adjuster's

Do I have to pay if I do not need any credits?
Yes, the fee for the seminar is $25 per person.
If I attended Storm Readiness last year, will I get continuing education credits this year?
Yes, this seminar includes new information. Therefore, the course has been filed with a new course approval number.
Will Storm Readiness give me credit for Producer Certification?
Yes and it will provide you 3 hours of continuing education credit.
Is this course mandatory for Producer Certification/Recertification?
NCJUA/NCIUA requires recertification every three years. Each agency with 50 policies or less must have one person certified; if the agency has over 50 policies, then at least two people in the agency must be certified.
How do I find out if I need to get Recertified?
Please send an email to Doug Hubble at Richard.firstname.lastname@example.org and include your name, NCJUA Producer Code and email address.
What if I need to modify or cancel my registration, how can I do that?
At the bottom of your confirmation page, click the link that states ‘click here to review my event summary’ and enter your confirmation number. At the top of the next page you may select either the ‘Modify’ or the ‘Cancel’ tab and follow the steps.
